Сareer Guidance Visit

On May 27, distinguished guests from our university visited the Denisivka Secondary School of I–III Degrees named after V.V. Lesevich of the Orzhytskyi District Council of the Poltava Region.
As part of the career guidance visit, the school was visited by:
Vitalii Semyonovych KURYLO – Academician of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Chairman of the Academic Council of LTSNU;
Volodymyr Petrovych MOROZ – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of LTSNU;
Petro Vasylyovych VORONA – Doctor of Public Administration, Professor of the Social Pedagogy Department of LTSNU, Chairman of the Poltava Regional Branch of the NGO “Defense of the State”.
This visit had a special symbolism, because both Volodymyr Moroz and Petro Vorona are graduates of this particular school, and Petro Vasylovych once worked here as a teacher. Together with the university delegation, Mykola Chepa – another graduate of Denisivska Secondary School, and Viktor Gorda – a former teacher of this educational institution also visited the school.
A meeting with students of grades 10–11 took place in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere. The students listened with great interest to the guests’ stories about the history of Luhansk National University, its modern capabilities, specialties and achievements. The school graduates showed by their own example that studying at Luhansk National University is a start to a successful career, development, and the realization of dreams. The guests gratefully shared their memories of their school years and the path to science and professional development.
Each student received advertising and information booklets with up-to-date information about the university, its departments, specialties and educational programs.
A special and symbolic moment was when Volodymyr Moroz handed over the symbol of the university from Luhansk National University to the school director Serhii Hryhorovych Serhiienko – as a sign of gratitude for cooperation, common values and support for educational initiatives. This gift became a tribute to memory and gratitude, as well as evidence of the unity of generations.
After the meeting with the students, the school director Serhii Hryhorovych took the guests on a tour of the corridors of their native school, where everything began for many of them. This moment was especially touching for Volodymyr Moroz and Petro Vorona, who were able to once again touch the school past, filled with memories and dreams.
The eventful and pleasant day was concluded with an excursion to the Orzhytskyi Dairy Plant “Zarigh”, where the honored guests were warmly welcomed by the director of LLC “Orzhytskyi Dairy Plant” Vasyl Oleksiiovych Maksymov and his wife, Ms. Valentina. The hosts conducted an exciting tour of the enterprise’s workshops, introduced them to technologies and modern production processes.
