Participation in the Round Table Meeting

On May 22, online, economics teacher Tetiana Cheremisova took part in the round table meeting.
The round table on the topic “Training specialists for the economy and business sector: harmonization of the labor market and the market of educational services” in the specialty 071 Accounting and Taxation with the participation of representatives of institutions of professional pre-higher education, employers and other interested parties.
The event discussed topical issues of training qualified personnel for the labor market, establishing effective and close cooperation between educational institutions and employers, determining the prospects for the development of educational programs in accordance with the requirements of production.
The Deputy Director of the National Center for Vocational and Professional Education, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Mykola Khomenko, in his presentation “Formation of professional growth and leadership of a professional junior bachelor”, focused on the key areas of the scientific and methodological center, the main requirements for the preparedness of a professional junior bachelor based on the results of professional discussions with the participation of employers, the dynamics of admission to institutions of professional pre-higher education in 2019-2024.
The Head of the State Tax Service of Khmelnytskyi Region, Valentyna Ordynska, drew attention to the fact that college education is the foundation on which graduates build their careers, and spoke about the effective and close interaction with the Shepetivka Professsional College.
Colleagues from Irpin, Lubny, Berdychiv, and Rivne Professional Colleges shared their achievements, the use of guest lectures, software in teaching, and drew attention to the practice that has a significant contribution to the formation of the skills of future accountants. The problems and challenges faced by students and teachers were also discussed.
Svitlana Zubilevich, Head of the Committee on Professional Development and Certification of the FPBAU (International Organization of Accountants), introduced the roundtable participants to the requirements of the International Standards for the Education of Future Accountants, the preparation of sustainable development reporting, and considered the key challenges of sustainable development to the competencies of an accountant.
The head of the professional methodological association, Tetiana Romanenko, spoke about the priority tasks and ways to solve them in order to improve the preparation of methodological support for the specialty 071 Accounting and Taxation. The mechanisms for updating curricula and plans, the development of modern methodological materials, the achievements of the FMO and further prospects were also discussed. As a result, Tetyana Romanenko focused on high-quality methodological support as a ticket to the world of successful graduates.
