Students and teachers of the Brianka Professional College took part in the cultural and artistic project “There, over the Dnieper: Returning Home.”

The event was held on May 22 for the student youth of the Luhansk region at the initiative of the Student Council of the Severodonetsk Professional College of Culture and Arts named after Sergei Prokofiev on the day of honoring Taras Shevchenko on the occasion of the 154th anniversary of the reburial of the great Kobzar.

The artistic project aimed to highlight the events related to the reburial of T. Shevchenko on Chernecha Gora in Kaniv, a story about the artist’s contribution to the formation of Ukrainian national consciousness. The participants of the event plunged into the extraordinary atmosphere of T. Shevchenko’s work, which was created by the organizers of the event. Poems, excerpts from letters, songs to the words of the Kobzar sounded.
