“Social Security and Social Work in the Face of Modern Challenges”

Participation in the II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Social Security and Social Work in the Face of Modern Challenges”
On May 22, 2025, teachers and students of the Social Pedagogy Department of LTSNU took part in the II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Social Security and Social Work in the Face of Modern Challenges”. The event was held at the Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law. Our university was one of the co-organizers of this scientific event.
The conference was held in a mixed format: some participants joined online, and others were present in person. Among the representatives of the department who personally attended the event and delivered a report were: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Larysa Oleksiivna Danylchuk; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Nataliia Oleksandrivna Ostrovska; as well as a third-year bachelor’s student majoring in “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” – Olena Kuznetsova.
The conference discussed a wide range of topical topics, including:
- training of social sector specialists in the context of transformational changes;
- implementation of measures to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals;
- social policy of the state in the context of martial law and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine;
- management of the social sphere in modern conditions;
- legal and economic foundations of social security provision;
- development of non-state forms of social support;
- psychological and methodological aspects of social work.
Participation in the conference became an important space for scientific exchange, professional growth and the search for effective solutions to modern challenges facing the social security system in Ukraine.
