Defense of Coursework on Easel Composition at the ER IA

The Department of Fine and Decorative Arts of the Educational and Research Institute of Arts held a defense of coursework on easel composition.

The second-year students majoring in Fine Arts major presented their creative works.

This year’s theme was thematic still lifes, a genre that requires a young artist not only technical skill, but also the ability to think imaginatively, deeply conveying the mood, content, and artistic idea through everyday objects, color, and compositional solutions.

Each work is a separate story that reflects the author’s inner world, his feelings, views, and creative approach. During the defense, students presented their compositions with arguments, talked about the idea of the work, the stages of implementation, the choice of techniques and materials, and also received professional recommendations and feedback from teachers.

The defense took place in a creative and friendly atmosphere, which contributed to constructive discussion and further professional growth of the students. The department’s teachers noted the students’ progress, their diligence, courage in implementing artistic ideas, and their desire to develop in their chosen field.

Such events are not just a summary of the academic semester, but a step towards the formation of one’s own artistic style and author’s language.

We are proud of the young artists who, with each work, are approaching high professional standards, and we look forward to new bright performances and exhibitions!
