Wind Orchestra of the Institute of Arts

The Wind Orchestra held a report concert at the Educational and Research Institute of Arts.

On May 20, the Wind Orchestra of the Institute of Arts, led by Yulia Danylchenko, a teacher at the Department of Musical Art and Choreography, held a report concert at the Educational and Research Institute of Arts.

The concert program was diverse, including such works as “Ukrainian Potpourri” (Semen Yednak), “Caravan” (Naohiro Iwai), “Super Mario”, “Romeo and Juliet” (Nino Rota) and others.

Not only the orchestra leader Yulia Danylchenko was at the conductor’s desk, but also the students. This is excellent practice for future professionals.

The soloist of the orchestra was Yanina Vyshegorodska, a teacher of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography. The concertmaster was Kateryna Skakun.

The hosts of the concert were students majoring in “Audiovisual Art and Production”, who also filmed the event.

At the end of the concert, the director of the Institute of Arts, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Iryna Prodan, and the head of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography, Honored Artist of Ukraine, Associate Professor Eduard Holovashych, delivered welcoming remarks.

Such concerts at the end of the year have already become a good tradition of the Institute. We wish the collective of the Wind Instruments Orchestra of the Institute of Arts new achievements and even more interesting performances!
