All-Ukrainian Webinar “Modern Trends in Social Work”

On May 20, the 15th edition of the All-Ukrainian Webinar “Modern Trends in Social Work” was held on the topic: “Implementation of Social Program Content in Practical Activities.”

The event is organized by the Social Pedagogy Department of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The speaker of the next edition of the webinar was Ivanna Parfanovych, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Psychology and Social Work of the Taras Shevchenko Kremenets Regional Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy.

The webinar was attended by more than 100 listeners – representatives of the social sphere, scientists, students, and specialists in practical social work from different regions of Ukraine. Our students of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education in specialty 231 “Social Work” under the educational program “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” also participated in the event. 

During the event, modern approaches to implementing the content of social programs into practical activities were considered, challenges and opportunities for specialists in this field were outlined, and specific examples of successful implementation of program components in practice were presented.
