Today, online learning opens up new opportunities for education, erasing geographical boundaries. It was a real pleasure and valuable experience for us to conduct online English courses for our students in collaboration with the GoGlobal initiative and a charming volunteer from Brazil, Alice.

The idea of ​​involving a volunteer in the learning process turned out to be extremely successful. Alice brought not only live communication with a native speaker to our classes, but also incredible energy and positivity. Her conversation clubs became a real outlet for students, where they could practice their English in a relaxed atmosphere, overcoming the language barrier and gaining confidence in their abilities. Watching how students enthusiastically listened to her stories about Brazil, asked questions and shared their thoughts in English was extremely inspiring.

The online learning format required careful preparation and adaptation of teaching methods. However, thanks to the support of the #GoGlobal platform and the active participation of students, we were able to create an effective and interesting learning environment. It was important not only to transfer knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, but also to encourage students to independently study and use English in real situations.

We paid special attention to the variety of tasks and materials. Along with traditional exercises, we used interactive quizzes, watching videos, discussing articles and working in groups. This helped to maintain students’ interest and involve them in active participation in each lesson.

Working with Alice was a new and valuable experience. Her fresh perspective on language and culture, as well as her ability to find a common language with students, significantly enriched the learning process. Together we planned lessons, discussed students’ progress and shared ideas on how to make learning even more effective and interesting.

In conclusion, I would like to note that the online English courses #GoGlobal have become a successful and useful project for the students of our college. It was not only a process of knowledge transfer, but also an opportunity for intercultural exchange and personal growth. I am proud of my students’ achievements and grateful to Alice for her invaluable contribution. I look forward to continuing our fruitful collaboration with #GoGlobal to continue opening up the world of English to our students.
