Ukrainian Tug-of-War Championship

On May 17, the Ukrainian Tug-of-War Championship among adults and juniors was held in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, which brought together the strongest athletes from all over the country.

It was not just a sporting event, but a real celebration of endurance, willpower and team spirit.

In the weight categories “men up to 640 kg” and “men up to 720 kg”, students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University also demonstrated their skills. Representatives of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports showed a decent level of physical fitness, unity and true sportsmanship. They competed confidently, devotedly and fought for victory until their last breath, which once again proved that the strength of the team lies in unity and mutual support.

It is especially pleasant to note that the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU, Oleksandr Volodymyrovych DUBOVOI, who performed the responsible and honorable mission of the official referee of the championship, joined the organization of the competition.

Oleksandr DUBOVOI is an experienced specialist in the field of physical education and sports, an enthusiast of his profession, a coach and mentor who has devoted many years to popularizing a healthy lifestyle among young people. His professionalism, impartiality and deep understanding of sports processes have become an important component of high-quality and honest refereeing at the national level. His participation in such events is another proof that LTSNU is actively integrating into the Ukrainian sports space and making a significant contribution to the development of physical culture.

32 teams from different regions took part in the championship, which demonstrated a high level of training, endurance and bright team play. This event once again confirmed that strength sports not only train the body, but also educate real leaders – responsible, determined and united.
