Ukrainian National Road Race Championship

On May 15-18, the Ukrainian National Road Race Championship among men and women under 23 years old was held in the villages of Zvenyhorod and Rakovets, Lviv region.

The competition was held under the leadership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Cycling Federation of Ukraine.

The bronze medal of these competitions in the team competition was won by the first-year bachelor’s student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports” Danylo PASHCHENKO.

Danylo is a Candidate for Master of Sports of Ukraine, represents the Donetsk School of Higher Sportsmanship, is training under the guidance of coaches O.M. Gerashchenko, K.V. Pospeeeva. 

The judging panel of the championship, approved by the National Cycling Federation of Ukraine, included the teacher of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports of LTSNU, judge of the National category Iryna Viktorivna YANOVYCH.

The presence of experience in practical work in the relevant specialty is one of the conditions for the compliance of the professional qualifications of scientific and pedagogical workers when conducting educational activities at the level of higher education.

Participation in refereeing of national level sports competitions is necessary to improve the teaching of educational components of the professional training cycle of the EPP “Sport” for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education.
