Natalia Ivankova is the world champion in the classic bench press!

The World Championship in Classical Bench Press among Women Masters (category M2) is underway in the Norwegian city of Drammen – a prestigious international tournament that has gathered the strongest athletes from all over the world. Among the winners, the name of the representative of Ukraine and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University proudly sounds!

Natalia Ivankova, a master’s student majoring in A7 “Physical Culture and Sports” of the ER IHCS, demonstrated an impressive result in the weight category up to 47 kg. Having performed a bench press of 62.5 kg, Natalia confidently won the gold medal, confirming her high level of sportsmanship on the world stage.

This brilliant achievement was not only a personal triumph of the athlete, but also a source of pride for the entire educational and sports community of the university. Her victory is an example of high determination, discipline and dedication to the cause, which inspires both students and teachers.

Natalia Ivankova has been maintaining a consistently high form in her category for several years, demonstrating that Ukrainian athletes not only compete with dignity, but also win at the most prestigious international competitions. Her gold is proof that talented, hardworking and patriotic students of the Institute of Health Care and Sports of Luhansk National Taras Shevchenko University are able to glorify Ukraine far beyond its borders.
