Practice-Oriented Webinar “Prevention of Professional Burnout”

The Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions hosted a practice-oriented webinar on the topic “Prevention of Professional Burnout”. 

On May 16, 2025, within the educational component “Ethics in Public Administration” at the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University for master’s students majoring in 073 “Management” and 281 “Public Management and Administration”, a practice-oriented webinar on the topic “Prevention of Professional Burnout” was held. The event was organized to raise awareness of the importance of emotional well-being and prevention of professional burnout among specialists in the fields of education and public administration.

The guest speaker of the webinar was Inna Ivzhenko, Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Education and Social Work, Faculty of Sociology and Social Policy of the Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University.

The moderator of the event was Nadiia Vasynyova  – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions.

The webinar participants received thorough knowledge of the factors that cause professional burnout, and were introduced to practical methods of its prevention. During the event, an active dialogue took place, cases from real practice were considered, and strategies for supporting the psychological stability of specialists were discussed.

Based on the results of the discussion, a decision was made to organize further events aimed at in-depth study of aspects of professional burnout. In particular, a series of thematic webinars and round tables are planned, dedicated to:

– mechanisms of emotional regulation in the professional environment;
– development of self-reflection and self-regulation skills;
– aspects of emotional intelligence in public administration and education;
– strategies for managing stress and motivation in organizations, etc.

These initiatives will contribute to a deeper understanding of the problem and help implement effective methods of burnout prevention at the institutional level.

At the end of the meeting, the participants warmly expressed their gratitude to Inna Borysivna for an extremely interesting and informative webinar.

The event became a valuable opportunity for a deeper understanding of the issues of professional burnout and ways to prevent it. The participants highly appreciated the practical recommendations provided, useful tools and the speaker’s deep analytical approach.

The experience shared by Inna Borysivna is invaluable!
