Dialogues on the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation

Information hours and dialogues on the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation were held at the Institute of Arts.

On May 8, the Educational and Research Institute of Arts held information hours dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation – an important date that symbolizes not only the end of World War II in Europe, but also the commemoration of all victims of this global conflict.

Meetings with students majoring in “Secondary Education. Musical Art” and “Musical Art” were held by advisors Tetiana Ostretsova and Olena Ponomarenko.

As part of the event, students (Zakladna A., Vostretsova K, Akhmadzyanov D., Mykhaylovska A., Otych D.) prepared meaningful reports dedicated to:

-the history of establishing this memorable date in Ukraine and European countries;
-the meaning of the red poppy as a symbol of mourning and memory of those who died in wars;
-the peculiarities of celebrating this day in modern Ukrainian society against the backdrop of ongoing aggression by the Russian Federation.

The information hours were held in the form of an open dialogue – students actively participated in the discussion, shared their thoughts on the meaning of peace, historical memory and everyone’s responsibility for the future.

Today, our people are again defending themselves with weapons in their hands. We must believe that in today’s extremely difficult conditions, in Ukraine, thanks to the support of the civilized world, peaceful life will again come.
