Literary Battle

Two faculties of LNU participated in the Literary Battle.

On May 19, the first and second year students of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communication and the Faculty of Foreign Languages met at the literary Battle.

The assistant professor of the Department of Ukrainian Literature Svitlana Negodyaeva proposed this form of work for students during the module control work.

The competition included four rounds: “Visiting Card”, “Multimedia debate”, “Comparative Marathon”, “Blitz-debate.” Competition tasks were constructed on the basis of knowledge and skills obtained during the study of the discipline and provided the involvement of the basic scientific research.

All participants were satisfied with their results and received the monograph of Oleksandr Galych “Globalization and Quasi-nonfiction Literature” as a gift, which was presented two months ago.

We hope that this form of training activities enrich the methodological base both of our university teachers and students – future language teachers.
