International Conference on Preschool Education

On April 16-17, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Preschool Education in the Modern Educational Space: Realities, Threats and Prospects” was held at the Department of Early and Preschool Child Development of the National Institute of Early Childhood Education.
The conference was co-organized by partner HEIs, including: University of Rzeszow (Rzeszow, Republic of Poland), State Higher Educational Institution “Donbas State Pedagogical University”, Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University, Berdiansk State Pedagogical University, as well as Szkoła Edukacji PAFW i UW (Republic of Poland) and Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia).
The plenary session was opened by the Rector of LTSNU Olena Karaman, director of the Institute of Early Childhood Education and Research Maryna Yepikhina, and head of the Department of Early and Preschool Child Development Svitlana Bader. With sincere greetings and warm words, the following spoke: Associate Professor Yevheniia Lindina (Berdiansk), Associate Professor Nataliia Pavlushchenko (Sumy), Olena Stayenna (editor-in-chief of the journal “Preschool Teacher-Methodist”.
The event brought together practicing educators, teachers, scientists and students who actively participated in the discussion of key challenges and trends in the field of preschool education.
A feature of the conference was the participation of specialists who work directly with children – kindergarten teachers, who are stakeholders of the OPP “Preschool Education”. They shared their own experience, best practices and innovative approaches to raising and teaching preschool children.
The conference became a platform for exchanging views, strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and practitioners, as well as outlining strategic directions for the further development of preschool education.
The organizers thanked all participants for active participation and expressed hope that such meetings will become a good tradition on the way to quality education for the youngest citizens of Ukraine.
