Order “For Valor and Victory”

The Rector of LTSNU Olena Karaman was awarded the Honourable Order “For Valor and Victory”.

On April 9, the Rector of our University, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olena Karaman was awarded the highest award of Ukraine – the Order of People’s Honor “For Valor and Victory”.

This honorary distinction was awarded for selfless service to the Ukrainian people, personal courage and heroism, as well as for high professionalism aimed at protecting the Independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The award was awarded in accordance with Order No. 15/03 dated March 31, 2025 (Kyiv) signed by the Head of the Union of Veterans of the ATO and Law Enforcement Agencies of Ukraine “Shield of the Fatherland”, the Chief Military Expert of the National Medical Chamber of Ukraine, Colonel Vyacheslav VASILYEV, and the First Deputy Head of the National Medical Chamber of Ukraine – Head of Medical Service Volodymyr SHOLOMYTSKYI.

The ceremonial presentation of the award to the Rector of LTSNU took place personally by Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viacheslav Oleksandrovych Vasiliev.

This high award is a recognition of the many years of work of Olena Karaman not only as the head of one of the leading universities of Ukraine, but also as an active citizen, a patriot, who daily invests her strength in the development of education, scientific thought, strengthening of national identity and morale of Ukrainian society in conditions of war.

We sincerely congratulate Olena Leonidivna on her well-deserved award!

May this recognition become a new incentive for achievements and a symbol of support from those who stand guard over Ukraine! We wish you further achievements, good health, inspiration, and may every day bring new victories — both in education and in the all-Ukrainian cause!
