First aid courses

May 18 awarding of certificates officially completed the first aid courses.

The Student Social Service of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Red Cross Society of Ukraine initiated this study.

Increasing of risks and natural hazards, technological and political nature, the last rescue experience shows that the most promising and effective activity is to actively engage in the process of preparing for emergencies of the population, which must learn to prevent, counteract and overcome the consequences of emergencies. The very important thing in this context is to teach people first aid skills.

First aid is a key activity of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine. Every year there is a constant increase of the number of staff and volunteers involved in first aid, securing it in crisis situations and to educate the population. Every year more than 15 million people in Ukraine need emergency medical care. Therefore, the ability to provide first aid is vital to everyone.

The graduates of these courses received certificates of international standard and now can provide qualified first aid.
