All-Ukrainian Championship in Aeromodelling

On April 4-6, the All-Ukrainian Open Aeromodelling Competition (free-flying indoor aircraft models) (IV rank) was held in the city of Vyshneve, Buchansky district, Kyiv region.

The organizers of the event were: the Ukrainian State Center for Extracurricular Education, the Federation of Aeromodelling Sports of Ukraine in partnership with the Center for Children and Youth Creativity of the Kyiv Region and the Vyshnуму City Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Students “Chance”.

On April 5, the head of the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business Viktor Burdun was invited to the grand opening of the competition. This Department closely cooperates with the Vyshneve City Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Students “Chance”, and therefore representatives of the department attend most of the events held by the partner educational institution. And the TSNTTUM “Chance” has something to brag about, this year they have been hosting competitions of this level for the fourth time.

Viktor Burdun got acquainted with the rules of the competition, the structure and features of the aircraft design, talked with the team leaders and participants of the competition.

The competition was attended by 14 teams from out-of-school education institutions in Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy regions and the city of Kyiv. A total of 59 participants. The competition was organized at a high level.

An excursion to the State Aviation Museum at the National Aviation University was organized for the participants of the competition.

We congratulate the winners and prize-winners of the All-Ukrainian Open Competitions of Schoolchildren in Aeromodelling and wish the young athletes success in conquering new sporting heights!
