Open Day at the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism

On April 2, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism of the State Institution «Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University» held an Open Day.

Where future applicants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the specialties, features of studying at the structural subdivision and the University, and the stages of the 2025 admission campaign. The event was attended by students and teachers of general secondary education, vocational education and professional higher education institutions of Luhansk and Poltava regions.

Viktoriia Dmytrenko, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism, spoke about its history, specialities, location, employment and career opportunities.

Iryna Boitsun acquainted the audience with the terms of the 2025 admission campaign for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, the stages of submitting documents, participating in an open competition, etc.

Heads of departments and teachers reported on educational programmes, emphasised the importance and demand for acquired professions in the Ukrainian economy, and the prospects for self-realisation of graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism. The attendees were interested in information about the professional success of graduates of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism, in particular Vasyl Holoborodko, Artur Proydakov, Tetiana Stus, Olena Horoshkina, Liudmyla Popova and many others.

During the event, the future applicants had questions that were answered.
