Meeting of the Specialized Academic Council

On March 27, a meeting of a one-time Specialized Council was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

A dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 052 – Political Science by Denys Denyshchenko on the topic: “Armed Violence as a Factor in the Transformation of the Political Space” was submitted for consideration and defense.

The scientific advisor – Svitlana Vovk, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of LTSNU.

The Council was headed by Anton Bader, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of History, Social and Humanitarian Sciences of LTSNU.

The following opponents will be invited: Hanna Viacheslavivna Muzychenko, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the K. D. Ushynskyi South Ukrainian National University; Tetiana Liashenko, Doctor of Political Sciences, Leading Researcher of the Department of Political Institutions and Processes of the I. F. Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnopolitical Research of the NAS of Ukraine.

The reviewers were: Liudmyla Novoskoltseva, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of LTSNU; Olena Mezhenska, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of LTSNU. 

By the decision of the Specialized Academic Council and the results of an open vote of the council members, the applicant was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
