The 50th Anniversary of the ER IPP

On March 28, the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University celebrated its 50th anniversary.

The celebrations dedicated to this significant event brought together the university leadership, teachers, students, graduates and honored guests who gathered to honor the glorious history and achievements of the institute.

Among the honored guests of the event were:

• Olena Karaman – Rector of the University, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor;
• Vitalii Kurylo – first vice-rector, chairman of the academic council, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor;
• Yaroslava Yurkiv – vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor;
• Volodymyr Moroz – chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the university, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor;
• Directors of structural divisions of LTSNU, heads of departments, teachers, teachers of secondary educational institutions, students and graduates of the institute.

The celebration began with welcoming remarks by the rector Olena Karaman and the chairman of the academic council, Vitalii Kurylo. They emphasized that the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology is the largest structural university unit, which not only preserves its traditions, but also actively develops, forming new scientific directions and educational technologies. The university leaders wished all students and teachers the realization of their plans, scientific achievements, good health and inspiration in their further work for the benefit of education and science in Ukraine.

As part of the festive program, many sincere congratulations were heard from heads of departments, teachers, students and graduates. A particularly touching moment was the viewing of a film about the history and activities of the institute, as well as video greetings from graduates of different years, who remembered their years of study at their native institution with warmth and gratitude.

The ER IPP is not just an educational institution, but it is a real educational family that has raised more than one generation of professionals. It is important to note that among the students and graduates of the institute there are many defenders of Ukraine who defend our state at the front. During the celebrations, deep gratitude was expressed to them, and the fallen heroes were honored with a minute of silence.

Despite the challenges of martial law, the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology continues its mission, providing high-quality training of qualified specialists – primary school teachers, preschool educators, psychologists, social educators and speech therapists. Thanks to the coordinated work of the teaching staff, the institute remains a center of science, education and pedagogical skills.

We wish you inexhaustible energy, new achievements, talented students, dedicated teachers, significant scientific achievements and fruitful cooperation for the benefit of Ukrainian education.
