- work of specialized academic councils;
- miscellaneous.
The meeting began with a report by the head of the commission for educational and methodological work, Yevhen Ivanov, on the work of the departments to ensure the educational components of the general training cycle. It was noted that the purpose of the disciplines of the general training cycle of the educational program is to form the general competencies of a specialist as universal, independent of the subject area, but important for the successful further professional and social activities of the applicant in various fields and for his personal development.
Most of such disciplines at the second (master’s) level are taught by departments that are responsible for the implementation of educational programs, which allows for maximum consideration of the specifics of specialties. For the first (bachelor’s) level, the list of mandatory disciplines of the general training cycle is approved by the university’s academic council. The participants discussed changes to this list in accordance with current legislation, proposals from stakeholders and modern conditions for conducting educational activities. The heads of the departments of Ukrainian language Alla Nikitina, Foreign Language by Professional Direction Svitlana Shpetna, History and Archeology Oleksandr Naboka, Philosophy and Sociology Svitlana Khobta, director of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports Oleksandr Dubovoi, and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Yaroslava Yurkiv took an active part in the discussion of the issue.
