Information Meeting with a Librarian at the ER INAS

An informational meeting with a librarian on the topic “Requirements for the Design of Course and Qualification Thesis” was held at the ER INAS. 

On March 27, Oksana Volodymyrivna SHEVCHYK, the leading librarian of LTSNU, held an information meeting on the topic “Requirements for the Design of Course and Qualification Thesis” for students of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences.

Particular attention was paid to the design of the list of sources used, as an important element in the structure of the qualification work. Oksana Volodymyrivna introduced students to the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015, information and documentation, bibliographical references, general provisions and rules of compilation. Attention was also drawn to the advantages of this document: compliance with international standards, a tendency towards simplification, recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Oksana SHEVCHYK also spoke about the services “Grafiati” and ONTU4Ref, with which you can design references for scientific and diploma theses, dissertations, etc. online.

In the examples provided, students saw the structure of a bibliographic reference and independently completed the task of compiling a list of sources used.
