Knowledge from an HR and Career Management Expert

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management received valuable knowledge from an HR and career management expert.

On March 24, students and teachers of the Department of Economics and Marketing, as well as the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking had a unique opportunity to join a guest lecture by Olena Skyba – founder of the MyProfWay training center, ex-HR director of JSC “Kredobank”, ex-chairman of the HR committee of the Western Ukrainian office of the European Business Association, expert in personnel management, organizational development, career guidance, and career management.

The event was organized by the Department of Finance, Accounting and Analysis of the Institute of Spatial Planning and Advanced Technologies of the Lviv Polytechnic National University. The initiator of the event was Lev Kloba – Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Analysis.

The participants of the event received valuable knowledge from an experienced expert about:

• the concept of career and its main strategies;
• career management and corporate development;
• fundamentals of effective personnel management;
• requirements for applicants for work in the banking sector;
• formula for choosing a profession.

The guest lecture was an excellent opportunity for students and teachers not only to receive up-to-date information, but also to ask questions to the expert, learn about current trends in the labor market and requirements for future specialists in the field of finance, economics and marketing.

We express our sincere gratitude to Ms. Olena Skyba for a meaningful and extremely useful lecture, as well as to Lev Kloba for the initiative and organization of the event.

Within the framework of academic cooperation between our departments, it has become a good tradition to hold guest lectures. 2025 is no exception. The Head of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking, Professor Viktor Trynchuk kindly agreed to give a guest lecture next week to the students of the Institute of Spatial Planning and Advanced Technologies of the Lviv Polytechnic National University on the topic: “Hidden Advertising or Effective Marketing? Peculiarities of Insurance Product Placement”.
