We invite you to participate in the VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Regional Media of Ukraine: History, Current State, and Development Prospects” (dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Journalism Department), which will take place on April 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Poltava, 3 Ivana Bank Street.

Conference Themes:

• Conceptual foundations of regional journalism in the field of social communications;
• Regional media in the dimensions of diachrony and synchrony;
• Regional media in the discourse of national identity;
• Issues and genre system of regional media in the challenges of the era;
• Regional periodicals as a source of cognitive value and a priceless rarity of Ukrainian community culture;
• The language of regional media and media culture;
• Regional publishing and editing: history, theoretical explorations, and social effects;
• Trends in the development of modern Ukrainian advertising;
• Regional journalism and globalization processes;
• Regional press (radio, television) as a means of ethno-identification in a multicultural information and communication environment;
• Regional online publications: global experience and national practice;
• Youth regional media: problem-thematic dominants;
• Regulatory and legal communication between the population and law enforcement agencies;
• Coverage of Russia’s war against Ukraine in regional media;
• The creative work of writer-publicists during wartime;

• Current issues of journalism in the scientific perception of higher education applicants.

The conference will be held online via Google Meet.
The connection link, program, certificate, and electronic collection of conference materials will be sent to the participant’s email provided in the author’s information.
The collection will be available in the digital repository of Taras Shevchenko Luhansk National University.

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word (DOC format) to the organizing committee at journ.luguniv@gmail.com by April 10, 2025.
