Participation in the Webinar “Sankcja kredytu darmowego”

Representatives of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Banking – Professor Viktor Trynchuk and Senior Lecturer Iryna Zelenytsia – took an active part in the fourth webinar on the topic “Sankcja kredytu darmowego” as part of the Consumer Week with the Financial Ombudsman of Poland, Rzecznik Finansowy!

During the event, where the speakers were Paulina Troska and Michał Rzyński, leading legal advisors of the Department of Banking and Capital Market Clients of the Office of the Financial Ombudsman of Poland, the participants received invaluable knowledge about which elements of a consumer credit agreement should be paid attention to in order to avoid possible problems. It was also considered which court decisions of both general jurisdiction and the Court of Justice of the European Union will help to more effectively defend consumer rights.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University once again confirmed its leadership position in the field of financial education! Fluency in Polish allowed our specialists not only to join the event, but also to exchange valuable experience with Polish colleagues, with whom they had already met several times at the Office of the Financial Ombudsman in Warsaw, and also organized a joint conference at the Krakow University of Economics.

This meeting became a real source of inspiration, contributed to the improvement of financial culture and strengthening of professional ties. We sincerely thank the Financial Ombudsman of Poland for organizing educational events!
