Participation in the Training “UAS QA Pool”

A student of the Educational and Research Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences participated in the training “UAS QA Pool”.

The Student President of the Educational and Research Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, a bachelor’s student majoring in 032 “History and Archaeology” Viktoria Makarenko took part in a training dedicated to ensuring the quality of higher education. The program of the event included a presentation of the Ukrainian Association of Students (UAS) and a discussion of issues of quality of higher education, in particular, the regulatory support of this process.

The participants had the opportunity to learn about the role of the expert group in the accreditation examination, its tasks, rights, duties and responsibilities, as well as the peculiarities of work. Special attention was paid to the process of studying information on self-assessment and other materials of the accreditation case.

The system of ensuring the quality of higher education was considered, work with cases that may arise in the process of accreditation examination. A separate block of the program was devoted to the role of student experts and their contribution to improving the educational process.

On the final day, the issues of student-centeredness as an important aspect of a quality educational environment, as well as integrity in higher education, were discussed. After testing, certificates were awarded to the participants of the event regarding the improvement of the quality of education.
