On March 18, an important visit of experts from the International Foundation for Educational Policy Research took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
Experts are conducting monitoring studies of the state of institutional capacity building of relocated higher education institutions with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The study is also aimed at preparing recommendations for improving their activities at the national level.
Monitoring at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was conducted by leading experts in the field of educational policy:
- Taras Volodymyrovych Finikov – President of the International Foundation for Educational Policy Research;
- Ihor Ihorovych Lyman – expert of the International Foundation for Educational Policy Research.
The meeting was held in the conference hall of Luhansk National University with the participation of the university’s management staff, in particular the rector, the chairman of the academic council, vice-rectors, as well as heads of departments and centers responsible for various areas of the university’s activities. During the meeting, the experts discussed strategic issues, key aspects of the development of relocated universities, assessment of the material and technical base, personnel policy, academic mobility, and adaptation of educational processes to new challenges.
After a long meeting, the experts toured the university, inspecting the classrooms, administrative premises and the material and technical base of the institution.
The visitors noted the high level of organization of the educational process at LTSNU, as well as the efforts of the management to modernize the infrastructure and improve the conditions for studying and working for students and teachers.
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University strives for constant development and improvement in all areas of activity! Such monitoring visits contribute to the exchange of experience, improvement of educational practices and integration of the university into the national and international educational space.
