Oriental Cultures Youth Club Celebrates the Birthday of the University

On March the 11, the meeting of the Youth Club of Oriental  Cultures was held. It was dedicated to the anniversary of the State Educational Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.

During the meeting, both students and the teachers  were talking  about the history of the university and its  departments.

The head of the Youth Club Darya Perepadya congratulated all those present on the anniversary of their alma mater , and  they  all watched a video about the history of  creation and development of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National  University”.After this historical excursion, the teachers shared their experiences of studying and teaching, talked about the creation of student circles, their activities and initiatives. Associate Professor of the department, Honorary Professor of the University Nataliya Volodymyrivna gave a short talk  about the first oriental language  programs at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Of great interest were her stories about the the Theatre Fesivals, namely, about the musicals in five langauges that the students perfomed. She also shared her experiences about organizing meetings of orientalists at joint international conferences.

Deputy Head of the Youth Club of Oriental Cultures Yulia Malakhova also congratulated all participants on the University’s Birthday. She suggested  those present  to admire the cherry blossoms in Japan  in order to be inspired by the beauty of spring.

The event was held in a warm atmosphere. Everyone really enjoyed it.
