Congratulations to the Winner of the AI Contest “I See Through the Eyes of Taras”

From 23 to 26 February, the student self-government of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism initiated the university creative AI contest “I see through Taras’s eyes” dedicated to the 211th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth.

The leitmotif of the contest was the following lines: «A green meadow stretches between a scientist and a poet: if a scientist crosses it, he will become a sage, if a poet crosses it, he will become a prophet».

The contest was to create a painting based on lines from Taras Shevchenko’s poems using AI. The competition received 30 entries, of which 5 did not meet the conditions. Voting was conducted in a Google form. The majority of votes went to the work of Oleksandra Barabash, a 1st year master’s student majoring in Social Work at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

We congratulate Oleksandra on her victory and wish her creative achievements and the realisation of her dreams!
