Presentation of Master’s Degrees

On 7 March, the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism hosted a master’s degree ceremony.

The document on obtaining a master’s degree was received by 96 graduates of the educational programmes «Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature», «Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)», «Secondary Education. Language and Foreign Literature (English)», «Secondary Education. Language and Foreign Literature (German)», «Secondary Education. Language and Foreign Literature (French)», «Philology. Germanic Languages and Literature (translation inclusive), first degree – English. Language and Literature (English)», «Philology. Germanic Languages and Literatures (translation inclusive), the first one is German. Language and Literature (German)», «Philology. Romance Languages and Literatures (translation inclusive), the first one is French. Language and Literature (French)», «Philology. Germanic Languages and Literatures (Translation), the first one is English. Translation», «Philology. Oriental Languages and Literatures (translation inclusive), the first one is Chinese. Language and Literature (Chinese)», «Journalism».

In these difficult times, when Ukraine is fighting for its freedom and independence, the participants expressed their gratitude to the military who protect us. The teachers and masters observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen defenders.

The graduates were greeted by the Director of the Educational and Research Institute Viktoriia Dmytrenko, Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Language Kateryna Hlukhovtseva, Associate Professor of the Department of Literary Studies, Oriental Philology and Translation Svitlana Perova, and Head of the Department of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes Svitlana Shpetna.

The feeling of a united Shevchenko family and a festive atmosphere was created by listening to the song «My Star of the Evening…» with lyrics by Taras Shevchenko, the University Anthem and watching videos from the life of the Institute.

We wish our graduates to never rest on their laurels, to constantly improve and discover new horizons.
