Photo contest “My Family is in Vyshyvanka”

On May 19 Ukrainians celebrate National Vyshyvanka Day – a holiday of national unity, preservation of Ukrainian values, revival of culture.

LTSNU invites all interested persons to participate in the competition of photos on the theme: “My Family is in Vyshyvanka.” The contest is held for the purpose of development and popularization of Ukrainian culture, stimulate creative, cognitive and social activity of citizens.

One should send photographs, which depict a person or group of people (eg, family, circle of friends) to participate in the competition. The main thing – people need to be dressed in the embroidered shirts. It is also possible to use other elements of Ukrainian culture, national life or clothing. The works must have original names and information about the author (s) (name, contact telephone number).

Please, send your photos by e-mail: fotovishivanka@ukr.net  from May 13 to May 18, 2016.

The organizing committee will determine the winners on May 19.
