Scientific Club “Search”: Discussion of the Publication of Scientific Achievements

The Department of Public Service and Management of Educational Institutions held a regular meeting of the scientific club “Search”.

The meeting of the scientific club was dedicated to the topical topic “Publication of scientific achievements and preparation of scientific articles/theses”. The meeting was attended by students of the II (master’s) level of higher education in specialties 281 “Public management and administration” and 073 “Management”, as well as scientific and pedagogical employees of the department.

During the meeting, the following key issues were considered:

• requirements for writing and formatting scientific articles and abstracts of reports for publication in professional publications;
• features of preparing materials for international conferences;
• rules of citation and observance of academic integrity;
• search and selection of scientific journals for publication of research;
• use of scientometric databases (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.) to increase the visibility of scientific works.

During the discussion, participants shared their own experience of scientific activity, discussed the challenges faced by young researchers, and received practical recommendations for preparing high-quality scientific publications.

The scientific club “Search” is an important platform for students who seek to develop their scientific and research skills, improve the level of academic communication, and actively participate in the international scientific space. Such events contribute to the formation of a scientific culture, support academic integrity, and expand opportunities for publishing scientific achievements.
