26.2.2025
On February 26, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol.
This holiday has become an important milestone in the history of our country, as it reminds of the heroic efforts of Ukrainians who did not submit to aggression and occupation. As part of this event, the ER IMIT also joined the celebration of this date by organizing an educational event dedicated to memory and resistance.
The main goal of the event was to disseminate information about the events that took place in Crimea and their consequences for Ukraine and the international community. It is important that young people realize the significance of these events, be able to analyze the situation and form their civic position. After all, the upbringing of patriotism in the younger generation is the key to a worthy future for our state.
During the event, a selection of video materials and documentaries was demonstrated that highlight the events of 2014 and their impact on the present.
Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol at the ER IMIT became a true example of the unity of students, teachers and all those who are not indifferent to the painful topic of Crimea. The event showed that the memory of this tragedy is an important part of our national consciousness and that it should remain a hallmark of our civic duty.
The educational event left a mark in the hearts of young people, because in addition to knowledge, it brought up a sense of patriotism, national unity and readiness to act in defense of their country. The memory of Crimea must be alive, and our desire to fight for the truth is inexhaustible.
