National Sports Festival “SPORT UNITY UKRAINE”

On February 22, the National Sports Festival “SPORT UNITY UKRAINE” was held at the Kyiv Palace of Sports, which brought together war veterans, representatives of adaptive sports and all supporters of a healthy lifestyle.

The SPORT UNITY UKRAINE sports festival brought together war veterans, representatives of adaptive sports and all supporters of a healthy lifestyle. This large-scale event became an important platform for popularizing sports, supporting youth in physical and personal development.

The director and employees of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University were invited to the festival. Representatives of LTSNU took an active part in the event, supporting its key idea – motivating Ukrainians to a healthy lifestyle.

The popularization of adaptive sports became an important component of the festival. The host of this large-scale event was Gio Pachkoria – a graduate student of the specialty 017 Physical Culture and Sports of the Institute of Health Cre and Sports of LTSNU, which emphasized the connection of the university with the best sports initiatives in the country.

The project received support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the NGO “Defenders’ Power”, which contributed to attracting a wide audience to the topic of physical activity and social adaptation through sports.

During the event, the director of the ER IHCS Oleksandr Dubovoi agreed to sign a cooperation agreement that will open up new opportunities for students and teachers of the university. In addition, representatives of the institute actively invited festival participants to study at the famous Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, distributing advertising and information booklets of the higher education institution.

We hope that “SPORT UNITY UKRAINE” will become an annual tradition, continuing to motivate Ukrainians to an active lifestyle, maintaining health and developing adaptive sports.
