February 24 – Remembrance Day for People Killed in the War Against Russia
24.2.2025
This year marks three years since the start of the full-scale armed invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine.
These days, all Ukrainians are uniting to once again draw the attention of the world community to the war, so students and employees of the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU did not remain aloof.
On the anniversary of the beginning of Russia’s full-scale aggression against our country, an hour of patriotic education “Undeclared War” was held at the College. Those present recalled the main stages of the Russian-Ukrainian war, characterized the anti-Ukrainian content of the theory of the “Russian world”, noted the role of the Crimean resistance in countering Russian aggression. They discussed the importance of the Ukrainian language as the main factor of national consciousness, which unites the people and preserves their cultural identity. They considered the prospects for Ukraine’s European integration as a key path to democratic development, stability and prosperity. Students also expressed their opinions on current events and testified to their unwavering faith in the victory of our people over the Russian aggressors!
During the patriotic education hour, a minute of silence was observed to honor the memory of the soldiers who gave their lives for our future, and all the peaceful people who died innocently.
At the invitation of the administration of the city house of culture, students and teachers of the college attended an open screening of the documentary film “20 Days in Mariupol”. The terrifying footage of the siege of Mariupol, filmed in February-March 2022, left no one indifferent.
We thank our defenders, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and everyone who helps to resist Russian military aggression.
Glory to Ukraine!!!
