Kateryna Bilobrovska’s participation in the jury of the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of scientific and research works of students-members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
Kateryna Bilobrovska, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Senior Lecturer of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes Department, Vice Director in charge of academic work of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology and Journalism during February 21–24, 2025 became a member of the jury of the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of scientific and research works of students-members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (municipal institution Poltava Regional Council «Poltava Regional Junior Academy of Sciences of Student Youth») (Department: Literary Studies, Folklore Studies and Art Studies, Section: Ukrainian Literature).
The jury of the Ukrainian literature section worked in the following composition: jury chair – Lenska Svitlana Vasylivna, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Ukrainian Literature of Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University; jury members – Sarapyn Vita Vasylivna, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Social Sciences Poltava University of Economics and Trade, Bilobrovska Kateryna Oleksandrivna – Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Senior Lecturer of Foreign Languages for Professional Purposes Department State Institution «Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University».
The competition-defense of scientific and research works is an important and expected event in the educational sphere, for which both teachers and creative youth thoroughly prepare.
The II (regional) stage of the competition-defense consisted of reviewing (external evaluation) of scientific and research works, poster defense and a scientific conference, based on the results of which the jury members determined the scientific work and her author who would represent the Poltava region in the III stage of the competition-defense in Kyiv.
The pupils presented current research on Ukrainian literature, demonstrated a high level of philological knowledge and skills, fluency in the scientific apparatus of research, general erudition, creative approach, skills in leading a discussion, arguing their opinion during poster defense and participation in a scientific conference.
During the work of the section, the jury members held career professional conversations, in particular, Kateryna Bilobrovska presented the specialties of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology and Journalism, distributed printed information, and outlined the advantages of studying at the university.
