Today is the third anniversary of the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

February 24, 2022 was a date that forever changed the history of Ukraine and the world. Today we commemorate the third anniversary of the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, remembering those who gave their lives for our freedom, and thanking all who continue to fight for the independence and territorial integrity of our state.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University expresses its deep gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteers, medics, and all who hold the front – both on the battlefield and in the rear. We are proud of the strength of the spirit of Ukrainians, their unity, indomitability, and desire for victory.

This war is a struggle not only for territory, but also for our values, language, culture, and identity. We continue to teach, research, and create, preserving Ukrainian education and science even in the most difficult times.

Let this date be another reminder of the price of freedom and the importance of unity. We believe in the Victory of Ukraine!
