February 20 – Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes

A history hour dedicated to the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes was held at the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU. 

As part of honoring the eternal bright memory of the victims of the terrible events of February 2014 in Ukraine, patriotic education of college students, formation of a sense of national identity and civic activity, deep awareness of the causes and consequences of the tragic pages of history, the Brianka Professional College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University held an hour of history “The Winter That Changed Us”, dedicated to the feat of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes.

During the event, they recalled how terrible the events of that time were, enriched their knowledge about those stormy days, about Euromaidan and its causes, about the Heavenly Hundred Heroes.

With a minute of silence, the students honored the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and lit candles as a sign of grief.
