Recently, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department of History and Archeology of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Oleksandr Naboka, took part as Deputy Chairman in the founding meeting of the Coordination Council on National-Patriotic Education, the Establishment of Ukrainian National and Civic Identity at the Starobilsk City Military Administration of the Starobilsk District of the Luhansk Region. This body, which unites leading figures in the cultural and educational sphere of the Starobilsk Region, should contribute to the formation of a nationally oriented social context in the region, the dissemination of patriotic values among students, the study and popularization of regional history and traditions. This, in turn, requires coordinated systemic efforts of civil society and state and local government bodies, and educational institutions.
It should be noted that the teachers of the Department of History and Archaeology have repeatedly been involved in various humanitarian and socio-political projects related to the implementation of the humanitarian policy of the Luhansk region. In particular, Oleksandr Naboka is a member of the Coordination Council for the Establishment of Ukrainian National and Civic Identity at the Seversko-Donetsk District State Administration.
