Meeting with Stakeholders of the Hotel and Restaurant Business of the Lubny Community

A meeting was held with stakeholders of the hotel and restaurant business of the Lubny community. 

On February 11, 2025, members of the working group of the educational and professional program “Hotel and Restaurant Business” of the Professional College of LTSNU (Yulia Ivanova, teacher of the highest qualification category; Olena Kashinska, candidate of pedagogical sciences; Olena Putrenko, teacher of the second qualification category; Lesia Danilchenko, student of professional pre-higher education, 2nd year, specialty “Hotel and Restaurant Business”; Anna Shcherbak, student of professional pre-higher education, 2nd year, specialty “Hotel and Restaurant Business”) met with stakeholders, including:

• Arthur Hrushevskyi – representative of the director of the Bella Кava coffee house;
• Liudmyla Danilchenko – owner of the Amadeus restaurant establishment.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

• updating the educational components of the programme in accordance with market needs and the importance of the competitiveness of the EPP;
• modern requirements and needs of hospitality institutions for professional junior bachelors in hospitality;
• opportunities for students for internships, practice and employment;
• changes in the name of the field of knowledge: Transport and services and specialties: Hospitality and catering, requirements for the new educational and professional programme of 2025.

Following the meeting, the parties received valuable feedback from representatives of the hospitality business; identified ways of cooperation with employers to improve practice-oriented training; agreed on ideas for future events and projects that should help our students practically improve their professional skills in the field of hospitality.
