How to Choose an Additional Subject in the NMT?

Choose a subject that is relevant to your major.

Each subject has its own coefficient for each specialty, which is taken into account in the formula for calculating the competitive score. In order not to lose points upon admission, we recommend choosing the subject with the highest coefficient.

See the threshold scores.

Each subject has its own passing score. To score these points, you need to complete 5-8 test tasks – we will find out the specific number of tasks to overcome the test threshold later. If you are choosing between several additional NMT subjects that you do not know very well, then choose the one with the lower threshold score.

For applicants to creative and sports specialties.

The most important factor for admission to creative or sports specialties is the creative competition, so you can choose any additional subject. But you must at least overcome the threshold in each subject of the National Multi-Subject Test, because testing results are required for admission to the university.

We remind you that registration for the National Multi-Subject Test:

  • March 6–April 3 — main registration session
  • May 9–14 — additional registration session

Dear applicants, a crucial stage in your life is ahead – the National Multi-Subject Test. We wish you concentration, self-confidence and high results! May the knowledge you have gained become a solid foundation for further study and professional growth.

Believe in yourself – and you will succeed!
