All-Ukrainian Webinar “Modern Challenges of Social Work”

On February 11, according to the initiative of the Social Pedagogy Department of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, the All-Ukrainian Webinar “Modern Trends in Social Work” began its work.

The moderator of the first edition on the topic “The essence of the concept of gender-based violence (GBV) and ways to combat it” was Iryna Mykolaivna Trubavina, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Social Pedagogy Department.

The online event was attended by 138 participants, including social work specialists, psychologists, representatives of the state and public sectors, active military personnel, volunteers, teachers of pre-higher and higher education institutions, students of the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s) and third (educational and scientific) levels of various higher education institutions of Ukraine.

The participants of the webinar, in particular, students of the educational program “Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology” of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, showed a high level of interest in the topic and had the opportunity to ask questions and communicate with the speaker during the meeting.

We continue to improve the professional qualifications of our teaching staff, as well as to form professional knowledge, skills and abilities of future social sphere specialists through non-formal education! We look forward to new meetings!
