Students and teachers of the Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business listened to a guest lecture “Trypillia Culture in 3D and Virtual Reality”.

The Department of Professional Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business continues a series of meetings with practicing specialists! They joined forces with colleagues from other HEIs and on February 4, 2025, organized a guest lecture-meeting of students majoring in 242 “Tourism”, “Tourism and Recreation” and 241 “Hotel and Restaurant Business” and teachers of the department with Maksym Yavtushenko, a private collector, a member of the Tourism Cluster “On the Paths of the Trypillia Mother”.

Maksym Yavtushenko shared his fascinating research path, which led him to create a unique startup idea. He spoke about his own experience in search and digital work, emphasizing the importance of combining a scientific approach with modern technologies for success in the tourism business.

The lecturer paid special attention to his own 3D development, which recreates the life of the ancient civilization of Trypillia, who lived on the lands of modern Ukraine. This project is not only a valuable historical research, but also has significant tourism potential, as it allows to visualize and feel the atmosphere of the past, attracting a wide range of tourists.

The guest lecture was an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the real experience of creating and developing startups and innovations in the tourism industry, get valuable advice from an expert and be inspired for their own projects.
