The Social Pedagogy Department held a methodological seminar with postgraduate students on the topic “Rules for Writing a Scientific Article Based on Research Results.”

On February 6, 2025, the Social Pedagogy Department held a methodological seminar on the topic “Rules for Writing a Scientific Article Based on Research Results” with first-year students of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in specialty 231 “Social Work”.

The speaker of the seminar was Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Olena Leonidivna KARAMAN.

During the event, students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the concept of scientific research; explore the research methodology; consider the classification of scientific research methods; determine the specifics and types of scientific publications; reveal the structure, elements and rules for writing a scientific article.

At the end of the seminar, students had the opportunity to ask the lecturer questions about writing scientific texts and received professional advice on the uniqueness of the research, proper citation of sources, and prevention of academic plagiarism.

Such methodological measures are an important step in the professional development of young scientists and contribute to improving the quality of their publications based on the results of their dissertation work.
