Career Guidance Work at Sports Competitions

On February 1-2, in the city of Irpin, the open Kyiv Region Kickboxing Championship ISKA was held at the Irpin Lyceum No. 2. During the championship, teachers of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports conducted career guidance work.

The competitions were attended by teams from 20 clubs representing 14 cities and 7 regions of Ukraine: Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsk and Kyiv. In total, the tournament brought together 280 participants aged 7 to 18.

During the championship, teachers of the Department of Olympic and Professional Sports S. I. Shynkarev  and O. D. Shynkareva conducted career guidance work among coaches, parents and athletes. They provided detailed information about the opportunities for studying at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the conditions for admission to the specialties of the Educational and Research Institute of Health Care and Sports.

This championship became not only an important sporting event, but also a platform for popularizing education in the field of physical culture and sports among young people.
