Final Day of the Polaris Program

On January 29, participants of the Swedish-Ukrainian Polaris Program “Supporting Multilevel Governance in Ukraine” visited the V. M. Leontovych Orikhivka Lyceum.

This visit was the final stage of the program and provided an opportunity to summarize the experience, share achievements and discuss prospects for further cooperation between educational institutions.

Interactive lectures were held for 10th and 11th grade pupils, dedicated to the development of independent learning and critical thinking skills. Program participants, together with lyceum students, discussed modern educational challenges, methods of effective mastering of educational material and strategies for preparing for admission to higher education institutions.

A training on the topic “Professional self-determination: how to find your calling” was organized for 11th grade pupils. The training consisted of practical exercises, questionnaires and discussion of career prospects in the context of reforming the educational space. Particular attention was paid to the issue of graduates’ adaptation to modern labor market requirements and the role of university education in their future professional development.

Concluding the program, the participants expressed their gratitude to the lyceum management and everyone who participated in organizing the events. The participation of teachers from the Department of Early and Preschool Child Development and students majoring in “Primary Education” of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of LTSNU in the Swedish-Ukrainian Polaris Program “Support for Multilevel Governance in Ukraine” became a valuable experience for students and teachers, contributed to the expansion of pedagogical horizons and the strengthening of partnerships between educational institutions.
