Participation in the Interregional Seminar

On January 22, 2025, the lecturers and students of the Department of Literary Studies, Eastern Philology, and Translation actively participated in the interregional seminar “Linguodidactic and Philological Studies in the Context of Contemporary Challenges”, dedicated to the Day of Unity of Ukraine (Polissia National University, Zhytomyr).

On the Day of Unity of Ukraine, January 22, 2025, the Department of Foreign Languages at Polissia National University (Zhytomyr) hosted the interregional seminar “Linguodidactic and Philological Studies in the Context of Contemporary Challenges”. The event saw active participation from Professor Natalia Yuhan, Doctor of Philology; PhD students Maksym Tkachenko, Dmytro Volynskyi (supervised by Prof. N. L. Yuhan); and Stanislav Hladilin (supervised by Prof. V. I. Dmytrenko). Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University co-organized this academic event.

Prof. Nataliia Yuhan delivered a presentation at the plenary session of the online seminar on the topic: “Ecocide as an Existential Crisis of Humanity in Contemporary German-Language and Ukrainian Drama”. The PhD students of the Department of Literary Studies, Eastern Philology, and Translation – M. Tkachenko, D. Volynskyi, and S. Hladilin – participated in the sectional meetings. All presentations and scientific articles by our researchers were highly praised by the participants of the seminar.

A collection of scientific papers will be published based on the results of the interregional seminar.
