Final Certification

The Department of Early and Preschool Child Development held a final certification in the form of a defense of qualifying master’s theses.

The chairman of the commission was the candidate of pedagogical sciences, editor-in-chief of the journal “Preschool Teacher-Methodist” Olena Staienna. The commission included: Svitlana Bader (head of the department), Liudmyla Varianytsia, and Iryna Grechyshkina.

As part of the certification, reports by master’s students on topical topics in preschool education were heard, namely: problems of socialization of children of early and preschool age, development of creativity and imagination of children, implementation of various pedagogical technologies, including M. Montessori’s technology, etc.

A lively discussion was caused by topics related to the preschool education system of France and Poland, the algorithm for using the book “Wimmelbuch” and means of working with Biziboard in early age groups.

Among the best defenses, the commission noted the reports of A. Mordovtseva (“Formation of speech activity of preschoolers using Wimmelbuch books”), Yu. Serdiuk (“Development of cognitive interest of older preschoolers by means of media education”), A. Kravchenko (“Adaptation of preschool children to the conditions of preschool education institutions abroad (on the example of the Republic of Poland)”, etc.
