Unity Day

Every year, on January 22, Ukraine celebrates a significant national holiday – Unity Day, dedicated to the unification of the Ukrainian people in 1919.

On the occasion of an important historical date and with the aim of forming national consciousness among student youth, fostering deep respect and love for the Motherland, the Brianka Professional College of LTSNU held the following events:

– a lesson of patriotic education “Ukraine, a united state, my sun-bearing cradle” during which an important moment of the historical past was remembered – the Day of the unification of the ZUNR and UNR into one state and today’s fight against Russian aggression – as milestones of the unified process of the struggle for Ukraine’s independence;

– a lecture “The Unity of Ukraine – the Basis of Statehood”, which took place in the children’s library of the city of Myrhorod. At the initiative of the organizers, each college student wrote a message for the soldiers who are currently defending Ukraine;

– a viewing of the film “Air Breakthrough at Azovstal. Sky”, in the city’s cultural center.

The events emphasized the importance of the unity of Ukrainian society, provided an understanding that only in unity of action and unity of souls can we achieve the great goal of building a spiritually rich, free and democratic Ukraine.
